ACA’s strategies closely align with the NMTC Program goals and objectives, all focused upon the maximum attainment of NMTC Program benefit to underserved areas and populations, through implementation of six primary strategies developed to RESCUE our nation’s low income communities and residents from what have been historically blighted and economically distressed neighborhoods and/or communities.
Rural development – assistance to be provided will target projects with enhanced emphasis on assisting rural areas which have been omitted from the Nation’s prosperity in an effort to level the playing field through economic growth and stability.
Employment opportunities enhancement – assistance to be provided will target projects with significant new, retention, and enhanced job opportunities, all in an effort to provide meaningful or enhanced job opportunities for economically disadvantaged individuals.
Sustainable development – assistance to be provided will target projects that are not only transforming but that will have long-lasting continued benefits to low-income communities and low-income residents, and therefore our society for 10 – 20 – 50+ years into the future.
Capital investment – assistance to be provided will target projects with significant public/private capital leverage – maximizing impact in low-income neighborhoods and/or communities.
Unified development – assistance to be provided will target projects that involve a high level of public-private partnership maximizing synergistic opportunities and local buy-in.
Environmental impact – assistance to be provided will target projects that align with or complement the federal 2030 Green Energy Initiative for environmental sustainability.
